| Great class! Rick is an excellent and very knowledgeable instructor. This is my 2nd class with Rick, I also took his HQL training. Although I already had my carry permit, as I received a training exemption due to being an Honorably Discharged Veteran, I still wanted to get the training and knowledge that Rick’s class provides and I’m glad I did! There’s a lot of legalities and nuances that people need to know if they’re going to carry, and Rick covered everything and answered every question asked. I can highly recommend taking any of Rick’s classes without reservation. |

| We had searched several different locations before deciding to go with Genesis. When we called to find out more, we found Rick to be very helpful and professional when explaining the details surrounding the class. The schedule they offered fit our needs and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Rick is very knowledgeable about handgun safety and the laws pertaining to purchasing and owning a handgun. He was very thorough in explaining how owning and carrying a handgun is a life changing event. He has a genuine interest in helping his students to understand what is involved in handgun safety and proper techniques. He always allowed us to ask questions and always treated us with respect. Rick and Joe were great! They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Rick showed us how to properly operate, clean, and conceal a gun and had various types of handguns on display for us to hold. That part was especially cool for someone like me who hasn’t had exposure to different types. Also the shooting range at Joes is absolutely beautiful and is just a great setup. Both Rick and Joe were very patient and made the course digestible and fun even for a beginner like me!
